Taking a tongue in cheek look at historical travel advertising, making a parody of the See America First campaign to encourage train travel across the states. We have See Canada Second, a look at how absurd this idealism in colonial tourism is and the false narrative of an empty country. Using tourist photographs and overly beautiful and idealistic imagery to establish a link between the landscape’s reality and its imagined identity, making the viewer question its validity and their relationship to them.
